From yard fees to groceries to gas & diesel, things
are less expensive. You can even
buy off-road (road tax free) diesel at the local
materials are readily available, too. We maintain a
small in-yard ship's store with basics including
batteries and bottom paint, and several major
chandleries such as Port Supply (West Marine
wholesale), Lewis Marine and Land & Sea provide free,
often next-day delivery right to the marina. Ace
Hardware, Home Depot, CVS, Wal-mart and half a dozen large
supermarkets are just up the road, and there's a
Costco in Jacksonville.
It just doesn't get
